A full menu of golf school programming is available from Bumble Bee Hollow Golf Academy, located at Penn National Golf Club and Inn in Chambersburg. Golf schools include 1, 2, or 3 Day schools and Half Day schools. The instructional focus can be on Short Game, Business, Women Only, New Player and Advanced Player. You can also Design Your Own school. Moderately priced weekend golf schools are offered in the Harrisburg area by request.

Design-Your-Own Golf School
Our design-your-own golf schools allow you the opportunity to pick and choose specific areas of your game to practice and improve. Choose from a comprehensive list of skills such as uneven lies, fairway woods, and specialty shots around the greens, or spend the entire session on just one skill, such as putting. Three hours of intensive instruction and drills are targeted to meet your specific needs.

New-Player Golf School
Join with others who are just beginning the game. We present golf fundamentals in a relaxed, non-threatening atmosphere for our new students. Our patient LPGA and PGA instructors will take you on a 3-hour journey designed to make you comfortable as you learn the game of a lifetime.

On-Course Playing Lesson
Having trouble taking your game from the lesson tee to the course? Enlist our professionals to enjoy the benefits of a playing lesson. Losing matches to opponents who don’t strike the ball as well as you do? A playing lesson may be the answer. Can’t decide whether to play a lob shot or a pitch-and-run from 45 yards? Our pros can help with shot selection, club selection, and course management problems. Use the Rules of Golf to your advantage. Nine-hole sessions available with the professional of your choice.

Advanced Player Schools
Advanced Player Schools are for experienced players who have handicaps of 14 or below (men) or 18 or below (women). Schools may be coed as long as all players meet respective handicap requirements. Curriculum will be customized for private groups of 4 or more players who enroll together (handicap requirements will be “stretched” for private groups).

Bumble Bee Hollow Golf Academy has on retainer, a roster of outside “guest professionals,” all award-winning instructors and some former tour players, who have agreed to participate in our Advanced Player Schools on an as-needed basis.
